Keeping Up Appearances

School has been going well for me. The lowest grade I have gotten on a test so far is 91.8%, which is really good.

My instructor asked me to become an official tutor for this run of the course, which makes me feel good since that means he sees me as a top student. And one of the students I was tutoring did really good on a test and thanked me saying that he wouldn't have been able to pass without my help. That makes a person feel good.

Life has been pretty slow, my days consist mostly of school and studying, but I'm sure there will be a balance once I get ahead in my reading.

Aside from that, not much has gone on.

All about routine.

As you can see, I am a grandmaster of keeping things such as this up to date. And if you do check this blog from time to time, you may also realize that the title has changed.

Originally this blog was started as a theoretical experiment, a journal if you may, of my experiences throughout learning of different religions. But, to my apathetic dismay, I have decided that I prefer being agnostic. So this blog now reflects random aspects of my life.

New Year's Eve for me was pretty good, I got nice and tanked and had good times with some good friends. New Year's Day? Woke up, no hangover... good start. Drove for 5 hours and decided I was going to stop for the night... No Vacancy... Drove another hour, stopped at 3 towns along the way... No Vacancy. Drove another hour, No Vacancy, Drove another hour, same thing. All in all, the trip was about 9 hours, and I had to make the complete trip instead of staying overnight due to there being no vacancy from Ft. Mcleod down to Cranbrook, which was retarded (to say the least).

Had a couple days to unpack, shop for food, and relax, then came school the following Monday. I think my brain was about to explode from having to read so much... They should really give you a disclaimer when you are going to trade school... "Warning: Read a book or something other than a manual before coming here." After the third day though you get used to reading for 4-9 hours a night.

Turns out the part that I thought I was going to do horrible at I'm really good at, it's too bad the person who is sitting beside me in class can't seem to understand it. He's a really nice guy and all. Regardless, I am not a complete dick, and since this area was pretty easy for me I decided to stay after class today for 2 hours and walk him through everything step-by-step the way I do it. By the end of it he had a much better grasp then being shown by the instructor (who has to keep a steady pace for everyone else.)

But now the time is coming to drift off into natural-rhythm hallucinations.
